The experience for a student with a specific learning disability, like dyslexia, is still very much the same in many classrooms.
We now know that it is no longer 6 -10% of students have learning disability but closer to 1 in 5 students have reading disabilities. There are over 60 thousand learning disabled students in Massachusetts.
This is just one segment of a great video available to help us understand what it is like to be dyslexic.
